Trusting God With What Comes Next

As a wife and mom we are often the steady ones. The planner. The problem-solver. What no one talks about is the stretch between what was and what's next. In my 40s, I've learned something important: not every new year requires a new you and everything doesn't have to be mapped out.

One of my favorite scriptures says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)

I've decided to loosen the grip this upcoming year and let God lead the pace. This season doesn't need grand resolutions. It needs gentleness, intention and permission to move slowly while still moving forward. I plan to let God order my steps even if the path unfolds slowly.

This new year is about protecting my energy instead of overextending myself. Choosing nourishment over restriction. Creating boundaries that actually hold and letting go of traditions, habits or expectations that no longer fit.

I pray in your son Jesus's name, as this new year begins help me move gently, trust

ree

deeply, and rest fully in You. Teach me that becoming doesn't require rushing and faith doesn't mean perfection.

Thank You for carrying us through another season and thank you for reading. Have a great day my friend!
