There Is Purpose In Waiting

We often want immediate answers, quick solutions and we want the next door to open as soon as the previous one closes. But life doesn't always work that way. Oftentimes, there is a waiting period.

When my husband lost has job earlier this year, I wanted to know exactly how everything would unfold. There were many moments this past year when I prayed and waited for clarity. No amount of planning can fully prepare you for the uncertainty that follows news like that.

In an instant, the plans you thought were set become unclear, and the future feels filled with questions you don't yet have answers to. But we trusted that what felt like a setback was not the end of the story and that closed doors were making room for the right ones to open. Trust that even when we couldn't see the full picture, God was still working behind the scenes.

If your family is navigating job loss, uncertainty, distance or an unexpected life transition, I want you to know this: This season is not your forever. The unknown is uncomfortable. The waiting is HARD, but transition often produces growth we could never experience in comfort.

And remember that sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin after the hardest plot twists.
